Czech Society for Clinical Pharmacology
The Czech Society for Clinical Pharmacology is a professional society whose goal is to support development of clinical pharmacology as a medical and scientific specialization in the Czech Republic and participate in ensuring high quality graduate and postgraduate education of doctors. It's member are mostly physicians qualified in clinical pharmacology, but it also has among its members other health professionals, doctors from other fields, pharmacists and other. It cooperates with other professional societies in the Czech Medical Society and standalone scientific societies from related fields.
The Czech Society for Clinical Pharmacology has working groups for Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) and Drug Utilization Research (DURG-CZ). The Society organises expert meetings and conferences including international. The Society supports the journal KlinickÃ¡ farmakologie a farmacie (Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacy), which is published also with support from the Slovak Society for Clinical Pharmacology.
The board of the Czech Society for Clinical Pharmacology runs the society, provides expert services for government authorities, insurance companies, hospitals and other organizations and cooperates with international expert organizations, especially the European Association for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
The Czech Society for Clinical Pharmacology is a collective member of the EACPT.
